Unfortunately, it’s possible that you don’t get approved for care through the qualification process. This is for your own benefit as this type of treatment can risk creating other complications.
The qualification takes your age, condition, weight, co-morbities, prior interventions and more into account. During the initial phone call, the doctors will go over all of these and let you know what would be best for you.
Here are some conditions that are contra-indicated for Atlas:
- Osteoposis/Osteopenia
- Cancer/Tumor
- Surgical Fixation
- Degeneration with Fusion
- Fracture/Mal-Union
- Pregnancy
- Congental abnormalities
Non-approval is not because we don’t want to help you, its because the nature of this treatment may not be effective and may even pose risk. We will point you in the direction of best evidence for your particular issue.
If you do get approved through the qualification process, you can be assured you will have the highest probability of success.
